Although fitting out the M70 meant working in relatively large marine vessel, the confined spaces here compared to the residential space meant no easy feat for our team. A challenge that our team took on with an incredible outcome.

IT Networking, 4G connectivity and back up UPS batteries were all imperative in ensuring that the Savant system and audio visual streaming services were able to operate without any interruptions whilst out on the water.

Ensuring that technology was protected from the elements, as well as not impeding on the interior styling of the vessel was one of the main project objectives on the M70. The centralised AV rack concealed in a room underneath one of the beds meant careful planning & organisation was a requirement by our team on this project. The equipment rack was built ahead of time at our headquarters, meaning less time working in the confined space of the rack room. Custom cabinetry was also designed in the main saloon to house a television which integrated into the distribution system & controlled by the Savant app. With the press of a button on any of the touch panels or smart devices, any of the source devices (Foxtel, Apple TV and Kaleidescape – all housed in the equipment rack room) were able to be watched from any TV throughout the vessel.
